No Way! Fuck Off Melbourne!

This week hails a large amount of bands playing throughout Brisbane from local bitches to interstate duds.  Just a bunch of hunks really.  The first night is this Wednesday, the 21^st at Black Bear Lodge featuring Venereals, Sewers and Fred Wood.  Doors from 8pm - $6 entry.

Then on Friday night it’s the juggernaut astro-pop of Velociraptor with support from Tiny Migrants, Go Violets and Hierophants.  Tickets are on sale here – Doors at 8pm.

Saturday and Sunday see Victoria take over Brisbane as the southern locals prepare to tear a rift in time.  They play Saturday, 24 at Woodland and Sunday, 25 at the Waiting Room.  Cobwebbs support on both legs, with Cannon and Keep On Dancin’s playing a night each.

Gone for Sale

Those of you who attended the Black Lips show in Brisbane last week will be fully aware that Cannon got wild and tore the Zoo a new bass hole.  What you may not know is that before the Black Lips played, Cole sat side of stage throwing up into a bin for 5 minutes before the band went on stage.  Throwing up in a bin and watching Cannon really do go hand and hand – just watch:
